The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester Brothers continues with the seventh season of “Supernatural” on The CW.

 

Twenty-six years ago, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, “Watchmen”) raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America…and he taught them how to kill it.

 

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have battled every kind of supernatural threat. After dozens of bloody adventures, they finally closed in on their dark destiny: with the help of their friends, father-figure Bobby (Jim Beaver, “Deadwood”) and fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins, “24″), they managed to avert the Apocalypse. But the victory came at terrible cost: Sam sacrificed himself, to be imprisoned in Hell alongside Lucifer. Devastated, Dean retired to civilian life-and was shocked when, a year later, a mysteriously resurrected Sam appeared at his door. Back in the hunt, the brothers faced increasingly strange, deadly creatures, ultimately fighting their way to the original monster-the Mother Of All. And Dean discovered the shocking, dangerous truth about Sam: he’d returned from Hell-but without his soul, leaving him calculating and untrustworthy. In a risky move, Dean restored Sam’s soul, but at great cost. Sam was flooded with horrific memories of Hell, memories that threatened to overtake him, even kill him. Meanwhile, Civil War in Heaven raged on. Castiel, determined not to lose, made the reckless choice to open a door to Purgatory, repository for all monster souls. His gambit: harness the power of those souls by absorbing them. Ignoring Sam and Dean’s warnings, Castiel made a deal with the King of Hell to find that door.

 

Now, despite Sam and Dean’s efforts to stop him, Castiel has succeeded in his plan. His power is God-like, and Sam and Dean have no idea how to stop him. But even Castiel doesn’t truly understand the magnitude of what’s inside him — or how dangerous he really is.

Season seven finds Dean and Sam reeling from the loss of their friend. Sam’s violent memories of Hell threaten to overtake him, threatening not just his life, but his brother’s as well. Meanwhile, Dean struggles under the weight of a secret that threatens to tear them apart. And even as the brothers traverse the backroads of America, hunting things that go bump in the night, something is coming for them. They are about to face an enemy more canny and adaptable than any they’ve ever fought. As the landscape around them becomes increasingly treacherous, the tools they’ve come to rely upon will be stripped away. Our heroes, like so many outlaws before them, will find themselves utterly outmatched and outgunned, with no one to rely on but each other.

Supernatural finns med i nyaste numret av Entertainment Weekly. Sera Gamble och Jared ger oss lite info om den nya säsongen.

CASTIEL TAKES ON HIS NEW ROLE AS GOD — Castiel (Misha Collins) doesn’t kill Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Bobby (Jim Beaver) but warns them not to interfere in his business. Assuming his new role as God, Castiel sets out to right some of the wrongs in the world. Dean decides they should bind Death (guest star Julian Richings) and order him to stop Castiel, but the former angel is one step ahead of them, leaving Dean to face a very angry Death. Meanwhile, Sam struggles to deal with the broken wall in his head.

Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Sera Gamble (#701).

I Vancouver gjorde killarna en frukostpanel, där de svarade på fansens frågor.

Ett lyckligt fan som fått möjligheten att besöka inspelningsplatsen för Supernatural i Vancouver i samband med Vancouver Convention filmade och lade upp två videor på youtube.

I den första ser ni Jensen och Jared när de filmar en scen.



I den andra är de i Impalan och alla som jobbar med serien tackar även fansen i slutet av klippet.

Supernatural säsong 6 kommer enligt CDON att släppas den 7 November i Sverige. Detta är så länge endast en import DVD så det är inte säkert att det finns någon Svensk text. Men om ni ändå vill förhandsboka dvdn til priset av 449 kr så kan ni göra det på CDONs hemsida.

Jensens fru (Danneel Harris) har nyligen sagt i en intervju med E! Online att det inte blir några barn för paret förrens efter att Jensen är färdig med Supernatural. Enligt henne så jobbar han alldeles för mycket just nu.

Frågan om barn uppstod efter ett rykte som någon startat på twitter om att Danneel skulle vara gravid.

Vi kanske ska vara glada att det inte blir några barn så länge Supernatural pågår, vi kan väl bara tänka oss hur Jensens alla kvinnliga fans kommer att reagera. :s

‘SUPERNATURAL’ SEASON 7:  MORE CROWLEY?

While I had Mark Sheppard on the phone, how could I resist talking to him about Supernatural? Though he wouldn’t reveal much (he’s a pro at dodging by now!), he did say that he was excited about the possibility of more Crowley this season. “Sera [Gamble] said that what Cas has said about this demon was going to be explored at some point, and that she has plans for this demon. But who knows? Maybe they just blew me up,” he says of his confirmed appearance in episode 1 (by way of the show’s amazing new promo!).

 

Sheppard, a longtime viewers of the CW show, also says he’s noticed Supernatural has gone back to basics, focusing on character development. “It’s going back to what made the show so popular,” he explains. “You’ve had these big, angels and demons wars, and the devil, and death. These things will obviously continue on in some way, but the root of it is Dean and Sam and I think it’s fascinating. It’s very much back to the root element.”

 

But will that “root element” include more appearances by Crowley? Of course, he won’t say. He did, however, hint: “It’s a lot of fun when Crowley is connected to the boys in a lot of ways. The fans have enjoyed that connection. They do well in that situation. It always pays off very well. I’m looking forward to seeing whether that happens or not.”
